The Kerrville community is rapidly growing and in need of new physicians, specifically hospitalist and primary care physicians, including internists and family medicine physicians. Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital is expanding in response to this growth, with a new acute rehabilitation unit that opened in July 2002 and a new cardiac cath/interventional radiology lab that opened in January 2004.
